Solid, catchy and well produced gothic/symphonic metal song!
16.0/20The Australian act The Effigy remind me of a modernised version of Evanescence/Nightwish/Within Temptation, with a more up-to-date sound and catchier riffs. Breaking Point is a really solid entry into that new sub-genre of gothic/symphonic metal - the singer/songwriter Effy Gold has a really nice voice that conveys emotions really well and works perfectly in this setting. Way to go! Can't wait to hear more of this.
